Our Mission
Giving back to our world by using Minecraft to teach, inspire, and excite social change both internationally and in local communities
MC4Good is an organization focused on using Minecraft as a platform to spark social change while using a fun and familiar medium, such as teaching computer science to shrink the opportunity gap, modeling of environmental impacts from global warming or pollution using in-game biomes, or creating massive builds in the game to inspire others to protect and conserve our planet. We want to give back to the real world through our love of the game world, and by leveraging the internationally beloved game Minecraft, we can truly make positive change.
To achieve our mission, MC4Good will:
Recruit qualified and passionate volunteers who are willing to use Minecraft to make a difference
Contact and partner with organizations in support of conservation and equitable STEM education
Foster a community of inclusive and welcoming individuals to ensure the sustained success of the organization
Create a platform on the basis of human respect. Discrimination of gender, sexuality, or race will never be tolerated
